Please share your experiences with the wild burro as well. Feel free to discuss any kind of training including endurance, dressage, hunter or whatever discipline in which you've become skillful or wise by use, trial or just plain observation. We are also interested in sharing with one another thoughts on husbandry, hoof care and maintenance, health and vet issues and whatever other topics pertain to Wild Horses and Burros.
My father has so often pointed out that our wild horses are actually feral horses. Though the 1939 edition of Webster's called feral "Untamed" it also went on to use the terms "wild" and "savage". Not a fair description. So in the spirit that the horses that roam North America are not exactly "wild" in the sense that a lion or rattlesnake is such we envisioned this list as a forum where the techniques of limited resistance and "gentling" are championed.
Please share your exeriences and images here. Hopefully this list can remain self administered by the listmembers. Without a need for someone to "MODERATE" or censure every single message as some list owners seem to feel is required.
