So, twice in one day last week I saw a hawk that I thought was a
Coopers Hawk due to the large broad wings and abnormally long tail. I
was driving at the time, but I noticed a conspicuous white rump patch,
large white wing bars, and jet black wingtips. The rest of the
underside was an indistinguishable brown from where I was. When I came
back to look for actual pictures, it didn't actually seem to match
anything. Maybe just an interesting variation on a Coopers Hawk?
