The WolfdogZ List was created to discuss wolfdog-related issues: behavior, containment, identification, genetics, domestication, socialization, health, legal issues, rescue, etc. The list is open to experienced and novice wolfdog owners and/or anyone interested in learning more about wolfdogs.

This list has some simple and basic guidelines, but they are important, so please read them carefully:

(1) topics must pertain to wolfdogs, wolves and/or northern breed dogs;

(2) no advertising of products, services or animals (i.e., no posting of animals for sale or promotion of products/services motivated by self-interests) with the exception of non-profit wolf/wolfdog organizations;

(3) no chatty posts or one-liners (please send those PRIVATELY);

(4) alternative viewpoints are welcome but keep it civil/clean (no profanity/baiting);

(5) change the subject line to reflect changes in topics;

(6) place YOUR response ABOVE the post you respond to;

(7) do NOT use colored background/stationary as a courtesy to members since it causes problems with some computers;

(8) feel free to upload photos to your individual files in the photos section, but please keep each photo under 500kb since we have limited bandwidth;

(9) NO forwarding of list mail to other lists or non-list members without permission; and

(10) individuals who condone or participate in animal abuse or zoophilia are unwelcome.

Violation of these rules will result in a warning first, moderation second, and a one-month suspension for the third and final violation. The moderators reserve the right to ban a member if we deem it in the best interest of the list. This is an "open" list, so use care when divulging personal information and remember that children may be present.
