A few weeks ago I got the worst news of my life. I had left my
beauitful one year old white female Pit Bull, and her three puppies
with my family to be taken care of. They were to find homes for the
puppies, and to care for my female until I moved to a place where I
would have her with me. I left them there feeling that the word of my
family that they would keep them safe, and get them good homes was
true. Two weeks later when I called to check up on them I was told
that the puppies all had good homes, but my female had died of a worm
infestation. After careful investgation I found that this was not
true, and that all four had been taken to the shelter. When I called
the shelter I learned the most horriafing news ever. My family left
them there knowing that if they weren't picked up by the owner in
five days that they would be put down just because they were Pit
Bulls. All four of them we murdered because of their breed. I am sure
that this is a constant around the U. S, and there are many other
things about the way Pit Bulls are treated by the so called animal
savers that really bothers me. I have made up a petition that I hope
will save these great animals from an untimely death. If you would
