GORRITI Is., Uruguay, 12 August, 2004 - A blue whale of more than 20
meters is seen after it was beached at Gorriti island near Punta del
Este, in Uruguay, August 10, 2004.

The whale was found dead on August 8 and Uruguayan authorities are
trying to pull the whale out of the area as a measure to prevent
sharks from arriving near Uruguay's most prominent resort.
