for those of you who aren't seeing normal pup numbers, I extend an invitation to
come to the DC area where I have 5 reds (seriously big number for me!), 2, but
soon to be 3 pipistrelles, and 17 LBBs (tragically lost a few to bloat). My
apprentice has 10, soon to be 11, BBs. So come take your pick! These numbers
aren't unusually high except the reds, but the diversity of species is unusual.
