Hi All

We have recently set up a tank for goldfish ( have kept tropicals for
a few years )I would like to ask the group how long they think it
should take a new filter to start to work efficiently ? My tank has
been set up for a month now but my goldfish have shown black tips to
the fins in the last couple of days. I believe this to be ammonia
burns so have been changing 50% of the water daily for the last three
days. How long do you think I will have to continue with this ?
